Ex-BLACK SABBATH Singer To Guest On Greece's METALZONE Internet Radio Tomorrow
November 10, 2007Former BLACK SABBATH singer Tony Martin will guest on the "Stargazer" show on Metalzone Internet Radio tomorrow (Sunday, November 11) at noon 12.00 (GMT +2).
You can listen to the program live at www.metalzone.gr.
Tony Martin is scheduled to perform tomorrow night (Sunday, November 11) at Ydrogeios in Thessaloniki, Greece. "This is significant because the very FIRST-EVER show I did with SABBATH was in Greece," Tony previously stated. "We played at the football stadium in Athens and it was a major heatwave at the time. I remember we had Dave Spitz and Bev Bevan with us at the time. Scary days being the first show for me but still memorable. Now we return.
"I have not played or visited Greece since then in 1987 so this is the 20th anniversary of my first SABBATH visit and personal visit to that country. This anniversary also connects to my introduction to BLACK SABBATH as a vocalist."
Martin's latest solo album, "Scream", was released in November 2005 via MTM Music. The CD features legendary drummer Cozy Powell (BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE) on "Raising Hell" as well as songwriting contributions by another SABBATH member, Geoff Nicholls.
